We require payment in full at the time of booking in order to confirm your booking.
This helps to reduce instances of clients making tentative bookings only to cancel at the last-minute, which can make it difficult for other pet owners to book accommodation and affects how we prepare for each guest's stay.

Payment can be made online via debit or credit card. A payment link will be provided on your invoice.
You’ll receive a booking confirmation email once we’ve verified your payment and confirmed that your cat’s vaccination certificate is up to date.
We aim to confirm all bookings within 24 hours—and often much sooner.

Cancellations: You may request to cancel a booking by contacting us in writing.
if you provide 21 or more days’ written notice before your cat's check-in date, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administration fee; bookings for one night only will not receive a refund;
if you provide less than 21 days’ notice but more than 48 hours’ notice before your cat’s check-in date, you will receive a 50% refund; bookings for one night only will not receive a refund;
if you provide less than 48 hours’ notice before your cat’s check-in date, no refund will be provided. You acknowledge and agree this is a genuine pre-estimate of our reasonable losses associated with you cancelling your booking.
Booking Changes: If you wish to shorten or modify your booking prior to the original check-in date, you must provide at least 3 days written notice.
shortened bookings: if you provide 3 or more days’ written notice before your cat’s original check-in date, you will receive a refund of the difference in fees payable for the original booking length and the fees payable for the shortened booking length, minus a $25 administration fee;
lengthened bookings cannot be guaranteed and must be arranged by contacting us prior to the original check-in date. Additional daily boarding fees will be payable when the lengthened booking is confirmed plus an additional $25 administration fee.
Early Collection: No refund or credit will be given if your cat is collected prior to the end of the original checkout date.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to provide a full refund, minus a $25 administration fee, when a booking is cancelled or shortened with less than the notice periods stated above in extenuating circumstances.
All cats must have a current F3 vaccination at a minimum, administered at least 14 days prior to check-in. A current vaccination certificate must be provided when making a booking. We have a strict no vaccination, no stay policy.
All cats over the age of six months must be desexed to stay at George's Place.
No, our suites are spacious for one cat, but not suitable for more than one.
Providing separate suites allows each cat to settle in peacefully, reduces stress, and ensures they receive individual attention and care.
Please contact us prior to making a booking if your cat requires medication.
We are unable to administer medication between 5:00pm and 7:00am and therefore cannot accept bookings for animals with these requirements.
We’re happy to administer medication that’s simple and easy to manage at no extra cost.
For more complex treatments or specialised care, an additional fee may apply and in some instances, we may not be able to accommodate your cat's medication needs. Please call or email us prior to making a booking to discuss your pets specific needs.
You must provide sufficient medication for the full duration of boarding - we will not purchase additional medication.
Medication must be in the original packaging, clearly labelled with your cat's name, dosage instructions, and be within the labelled expiry date.
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your cat’s own food, especially if they’re on a special diet.
Cats can experience stomach upset with a sudden change in diet, so for shorter stays in particular, we recommend that you provide their usual food to avoid a sudden dietary change.
If providing your own food, please ensure there is enough for the duration of your cat's stay, and that it is in a sealable container (no glass, please) clearly labelled with your cat's name and feeding instructions.
There are no extra charges for feeding food you supply—we’re happy to accommodate your cat’s preferences.
Boarding fees include two meals per day of Royal Canin dry food.
Bedding is provided, but you're welcome to bring your own to help your pet feel more at home during their stay.
No, for the safety of all guests we do not allow cats to play with each other.
No, we do not provide grooming services, so please ensure your cat is well-groomed prior to boarding.

No, at this time we are not able to pick up your cat from or drop your cat back to your home.
